What LVC Is
LVC — Locally Vetted Companies & Contractors — is a free resource for South Florida homeowners. We publish plain-language guidance on how home improvement work actually gets done here, and we help homeowners connect with locally vetted companies and independent contractors whose experience fits their project.
We are not a contractor, and we are not a construction manager. We don't perform the work, supervise it or take a position on how you should build. What we do is vet the people we introduce, explain what the local market expects of you, and act as a communication bridge between you and the professionals you choose — so you are never left guessing what happens next.
Everything we publish is public. What Florida permits protect you from, what a roofing scope should actually list, why impact windows are approved opening by opening, how wind mitigation affects an insurance premium, and what to do when a project stalls — that guidance is free whether or not you ever ask us to introduce anyone.

LVC Locally Vetted Companies & Contractors is built and operated by the team at Domus South Florida, a South Florida company focused on homeowners rather than contractors. Our role in every project is to advocate for the homeowner: explain the market in plain terms, help you ask better questions, and stay reachable when something goes sideways.
We serve homeowners across Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties — from Miami and Fort Lauderdale to Pompano Beach, Coral Springs, Parkland, Boca Raton and West Palm Beach. Using LVC is free, and asking for help starts nothing you can't walk away from.
